A selection of work from one of the Germania Bank's many artists. Located at 190 Bowery, NYC, this was one of the most popular and longest lasting monuments to the street art movement in Manhattan.

This Nina Simone paste-up was found next to the Bowery Wall Mural project on East Houston, NYC. The Bowery Mural Wall is a large space on the northwest corner of Houston Street and Bowery in Manhattan’s downtown. The spot earned its place in history when Keith Haring, an up-and-coming artist at the time, painted a mural there in 1982.

This is a detail of a large work by the team of ASVP found on a restaurant wall in NOLITA, NYC. ASVP is an artistic duo based in Bushwick, Brooklyn. They are known for creating work that is a mix of graphic (hand painted) illustrations often containing elements from advertising, pop and comic book culture.

An early Swoon portrait made of a paper cut-out and then pasted onto a mixed wall of images. Found in Little Italy, NYC. The majority of Swoon’s art consists of intricate and delicate paper-cut portraits which are generally based on the people she met throughout her life. Swoon’s paper cuts pieces are just as well transient as they are not made with spray paint on walls like most street artists. Even though most of them survive for months, some may remain visible for just a couple of minutes.
